Welcome to Horological Stuff

Horological Stuff is a small corner of the internet dedicated to the examination and repair of the weird and interesting tools and machines sold to the clock and watchmakers of yesteryear.  I hope that Horological Stuff will eventually serve as a place where discussions about these pieces of equipment will flourish.

You may contact me directly at horologicalstuff@gmail.com

If you’d like to know more about yours truly, you’ll probably find the answer on the About page as well as a list of some of the equipment I hope to be posting about in the future. If not, please feel free to comment with your question. I will do my best to respond to questions and comments in a timely manner.
If you’re interested in seeing what I have rambled about in the past or what I’m waffling on about now, it can all be found on the Posts page.

Feel free to comment on anything. Requests for particular machines or pieces of equipment are also welcome. If I can get it, I’ll talk about it. If I can’t get it, I’ll try to find someone who does so I can examine it. Some of my equipment may be for sale, so if you’re interested in a particular machine, don’t hesitate to ask. The worst I can say is no.

  1. Hi, I have a B200 and a MR600 vibrograph needing attention but I can’t find any mention of your location. This is important for me as it is probably not viable to post these machines. I live in Johannesburg, South Africa.
    Regards, Cornelius
